LOCAL BIRDING TRIP AVAILABLE Several nearby places have good Fall migratory birds from mid-August through mid-October. A local birder has volunteered to lead bird walks, free of charge, during this period. Call Bill at (828) 766-9998 to arrange an outing. No strenuous hiking involved but bring your binoculars.
