Announcing: The Orchard Photo Contest

for 2011:
Winners to be announced on Sunday,

October 23 at 2pm on the Pavilion!

If your specialty is nature photos, historical or photojournalistic photos, funny photos, animal or people photos, you will find the perfect "photo op" at the Orchard (digital images must be at least 1600x1200 pixels).

CATEGORIES AND PRIZES

One Overall winner (All ages):

WINS a Wine* and Cheese Hayride for 15 of your closest friends OR a bountiful basket of fresh Orchard jams, jellies and more (winner’s choice, basket available for shipping). We will also proudly feature your winning photo on the Orchard website home page.

One Senior winner (65 Plus):

WINS two lbs. of Miss Charlotte's fantastic fudge, flavors of your choice. We will proudly display your winning photo on our Photos webpage.

One Junior winner (17 years and younger):

WINS a free hayride for up to 10 of your friends and family. We will proudly display your winning photo on our Photos webpage.

One "Orchard People" winner (All ages):

This category was added last year because we received so many wonderful photos of people! Our winner receives an Orchard at Altapass t-shirt. We will proudly display your winning photo on our Photos webpage.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

To enter the competition please  EMAIL your name, address, age category, and the digital photograph(s) you wish to enter to Jill Carson at:

photocontest@altapassorchard.com

Though we strongly prefer digital photos, you can also "snail mail" your photo with your name, address and age category to: Orchard PHOTO CONTEST PO Box 245 Little Switzerland, NC  28749. 

Please submit Orchard at Altapass related photos only.  Please email HIGH RESOLUTION photos only (at a minimum digital images must be 1600x1200 pixels).

 Submitted photos may be used for promotional purposes by the Orchard at Altapass. Entry is free, winners need not be present to win.  

* If our overall winner is under legal drinking age he or she will receive non-alcoholic drinks on the hayride. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
